Lefties are a different breed. Lefty relievers are their own different species. They sit in the bullpen for hours at a time, and typically now are brought in to face just one hitter per night. That leaves a lot of time for shenanigans.

Lefty relievers weren’t always used in this respect. Some were long relievers, some were spot starters, some were even closers. Of the top 25 left-handed relievers in Royals history by relief appearances, how many can you name?
