The Royals are playing more baseball, today! And Kyle Zimmer is going to pitch in a game situation for the first time since getting surgery to relieve the symptoms of his Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. We probably won’t learn much about whether he can stay healthy this year unless the jokes and memes come true and he fails to complete even one inning’s worth of work.

In the mean time, here’s today’s riveting lineup:

I originally started writing here about how much I loved that the development modern social media meant we could get images of the lineup card these days that let’s us see who is going to get to play the second half of the early spring training games. So, of course, I wasn’t able to find any such pictures of today’s lineup card.

They won yesterday on a 2-run bomb from resident intriguing DH prospect, Peter O’Brien. Now it’s time to find out who has the magic today to drive the Royals to their first winning streak of 2017. Today’s game will be broadcast on 610 for all you local listener’s, so this may be your first chance to hear your favorite broadcasters tune up their pipes for the 2017 season, too.
