Well, you made it. The final week of spring training starts today. The starting rotation has been set. The starting lineup seems to be nearly complete. In fact, the entire roster is just about ready. All that’s left is to make it through one more week of pointless games. Today is the day that one of those pointless games will be played.
Pointlessly starting for the Royals will be Jason Hammel in his final Arizona 2017 appearance; he will get one more chance to work on his stuff in an exhibition game against Texas later this week, but as far as Arizona goes, this is it. The Royals will pointlessly face Angels’ right-hander JC Ramirez. The Royals’ pointless lineup will look like this:
