Game 10 Thread: Angels at Royals

The Fighting Trouts come to Kansas City for the weekend.

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

Every time I think of the Angels, I think of the 2014 ALDS that ignited the most fun three-week stretch of my sports fandom life. Hopefully, the games this weekend are more like those three were.

The Angels, who come in at 6-4, will throw career reliever JC Ramirez tonight. He has pitched in 111 big-league games, but this will be his first start. He enters with a 2-0 record on the year, though he has allowed three runs on seven hits in five total innings.

Pitching for the Royals will be Danny Duffy, who enters at 1-0 after defeating the Astros last weekend. Duffy has made three career starts against Los Angeles, and the last two, one last year and one in 2015, were quality starts.
