We are on the verge of Opening Day, but in Korea, baseball got underway with a special Royals guest. Hall of Famer George Brett was the guest of honor for the NC Dinos, a team in the Korean Baseball Organization, throwing out the first pitch.

Written in KOR, but headline says "MLB legend George Brett, 7000 outs made me great"https://t.co/5i68yFwj2E pic.twitter.com/T9eaPdBpvH
According to the Yonhap News, Brett was in Korea on personal business, but made a stop by his friends with the Dinos.
The Dinos said Brett came to know the club through offseason training. This year, the Dinos set up their camp at the home park of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, the Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Brett had owned the club until last year.
Of course, a trip to Korea wouldn’t be complete without visiting Sung-woo Lee, the Royals superfan who gained notoriety in 2014 when he visited Kansas City during the magical Royals run that season.
When I visited KC in 2014, @GeorgeHBrett @RexHudler1 said I should marry a KC woman & live there forever...
