The Royals unveiled some new food offerings available at Kauffman Stadium today, including a BBQ pulled-pork patty melt sandwich topped with fried onions, shredded cheese, a funnel cake, and a jalapeno popper.

I don’t think that’s gluten-free.

They will also sell this “Sunrise Dog”, a breakfast hot dog topped with bacon, a fried egg, and gravy.

That’s enough to get Billy Butler to come back to Kansas City!

You can also buy this Chicken Bacon Smoke Stak, a generous serving of waffle fries topped with smoked chicken, bacon creme sauce, red pepper relish, scallions and sour cream.

I believe snacking on these help Salvador Perez lose 25 pounds this winter.

There will be plenty of other food options you can select from.

The Royals will have made-to-order ice cream inside the Diamond Club, which got a makeover, including VIP theater-style seats.

The Royals made numerous other renovations around the stadium, the most changes to the stadium since 2009, including updates to the team store, adding the “Price Chopper Patio” and “Blue Moon Tap Room” to the outfield concourse, and giving a facelift for the Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame will also feature a tribute to the late Yordano Ventura.

What do you think of the changes? Are you going to try any of the new food options?

The Royals home opener is Monday, April 10 at 3:10 against Oakland. You can purchase tickets for all Royals games at kcroyals.com or at stubhub.com.
