The Royals lost a games in the decade of the 2000s. Between 2000 and 2009, the Royals lost 948 games, twelve more than any other Major League team, and 297 more than the New York Yankees. They had just one winning season, topping out with 83 wins in 2003. It was an era of futility, hopelessness, and embarrassment.

So let’s remember the top hitters of that decade of incompetence! The Royals did have a few hitters worth a spit in those days, the trouble was getting them to stay in town.

Of the 25 Royals batters who had the most hits in the decade spanning from 2000 to 2009, how many can you name?
