Royals fans look fantastic on Dressed to the Nines Day

Hopefully the team looks as good as the fans!

The Royals held their tribute to the Negro League today with a cool Monarchs jersey for the first 15,000 fans. Royals fans used the occasion to celebrate “Dressed to the Nines Day”, a salute to the tradition of Negro League fans coming to Kansas City Monarchs games after church, still dressed in their Sunday best.

Fans today looked marvelous on a gorgeous day out at the ballpark.

Of course, no one outdresses Negro League Baseball Museum president Bob Kendrick.

But Kansas City Royals fans looked darn good dressed up.

Even the Royals grounds crew looked good.

Now if only the Royals could play as well as the fans dress!
