The newest member of the Royals organization will be announced tonight, with day one of the MLB draft taking place. Rounds one and two will take place tonight beginning at 6 p.m. CT, to be aired on MLB Network and MLB.com. The Royals select at #14, but will also make a selection in round two (#52) as well as their competitive balance pick at #73. Rounds three through ten will take place on Tuesday beginning at noon, with the draft concluding on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
