I'll come right out and say it: West Coast baseball games are dumb. They start at 9 o'clock and are two hours away from the Central time zone. Nobody wants to be watching a random baseball game at midnight.
And yet, tonight the Kansas City Royals will play in San Francisco against the Giants, and tens of thousands of people will be watching the game, even as the day changes to a different day. I will be one of them.
