A good reliever entrance can send fans into a tizzy and intimidate opponents. When the opening chimes of AC/DC’s “Hell’s Bells” came on, anyone hitters facing the Padres knew that Trevor Hoffman was about to shut them down. Anytime you heard “Enter Sandman” in Yankee Stadium in the 90s and 00s, you knew Mariano Rivera was about to end things. Even Mike MacDougal, who was a good closer for about ten seconds, had a really cool intro video set to “Rock You Like a Hurricane” by The Scorpions.
What would your entrance music be? Something bone-chilling? Intimidating? Or would you play it on the lighter side? My entrance music is a pretty obvious selection.
The Twins are in Boston facing Chris Sale and the Red Sox while the Indians are hosting Cole Hamels and the Rangers. And somewhere, somehow, Alcides Escobar is still starting at shortstop.
