Yesterday’s loss was one of those gut punches. After nine innings of Kansas City Royals offensive futility against the dusty husk of Ubaldo Jiminez, the Baltimore Orioles blooped and poked their way to a walkoff in the bottom of the ninth inning with three singles.
Tonight, Kansas City hoped to bounce back. Ian Kennedy takes the mound for the boys in blue, looking to improve upon what is shaping up to be one of the worst seasons of his career.
Baltimore will counter Redbeard with starting pitcher and Owasso, Oklahoma native Dylan Bundy. While it feels like Bundy has been around forever, he’s only 24 and doesn’t have many starts under his belt due to some injuries.
