Royals Review Radio: Joshua Brisco of ESPN 1510

We talk Royals and the changing sports media industry.

Joshua Brisco is one local radio host who is not willing to “stick to sports.” On his new show “(Almost) Entirely Sports”, which airs 4-6 p.m. weekdays on 1510 ESPN and 99.3 FM in Kansas City, he is just as willing to talk about the intersection of sports and politics as he is about Ned Yost’s managerial decisions.

On this week’s episode of Royals Review Radio, Joshua and I discussed the future of the Royals, whether or not they can continue the momentum among the fanbase, and how to get started talkin’ sports for a living. We also talked about the changing landscape of sports media, and what the future holds.

You can listen to Joshua at 1510 ESPN and you can find past episodes, including appearances from yours truly, here. You can also follow him on Twitter at @jbbrisco.

Some of the thing we talked about:

Running list of ESPN layoffs.

Fox Sports pivots to video.

How ESPN is betting on big personalities to restore its fortunes.
