We are less than three hours from gametime as I write this and only just a few minutes ago did we finally know which pitchers were starting tonight. The Red Sox may be working on some trickery as they will send out Eduardo Rodriguez to be their guy. E-Rod has never made a post-season start, before. He has a career post-season ERA of 10.38 and so far this post-season has collected a 6.23 ERA in six appearances spanning only 4.1 innings.
Oh yeah. He also pitched last night.
The Dodgers, on the other hand, appear to be playing things straight. They will allow Rich Hill to take the mound. Hill is perhaps most famous for pitching a no-hitter for nine innings last year - it would have been a perfect game but Logan Forsythe committed an error - before losing it, the shut out, and the win when he allowed a walk-off home run in the tenth inning. The 38-year-old lefty will be making his third start of this post-season which has seen him accrue an impressive 2.61 ERA in three appearances which includes one relief outing.
