The Royals will look to stay undefeated here in early action, this time taking on the San Francisco Giants on the road at Scottsdale Stadium.
Toeing the slab for the Royals will be lefty Brian Flynn. He doesn’t figure to be part of the conversation for the starting rotation, but the Royals are probably just trying a bunch of different options for the early games. Starting for the Giants will be righty Tyler Beede, who was most recently ranked as the Giants #2 prospect.

I’ll start our discussion with a question. With Adalberto Mondesi having two nice games to start the year, are you going to fall for a possible impressive performance that he puts up this Spring Training? Kind of like last year. Or would you buy this performance more than last year’s? Maybe because he’s now had success at some level of professional baseball, he’s a year older, etc...
