Game 16 Thread: Canadian Finale

Ian Kennedy steps to the mound against the Blue Jays

Unless the Kansas City Royals conjure a miracle season from the current train wreck and slither into a very specific playoff matchup, today’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays will be their last game in beautiful Canada this season. Something tells me that nobody will truly miss it. After all, the Royals lost twice in one day yesterday, and the day before that were unable to play due to inclement weather despite the Rogers Center being, you know, enclosed.

Anyway, the Royals will bizarrely be available to watch only on Facebook today, as if the dystopian nightmare of 2018 couldn’t get any weirder for the poor Kansas City boys in blue. So...enjoy?

Ian Kennedy steps to the mound today with an awfully boring lineup. But that’s every day this year, so no difference.

The Blue Jays will counter with a more interesting lineup and Ian “Great Name for Puns” Happ.

So, uh, I don’t know. Russia, foreign countries, big brother etc. Enjoy some baseball.
