Game Thread 43: Rays at Royals

After a disappointing loss last night, the Royals will try to even up the series against Anthony Banda (who is making his season debut) and the rest of the Rays crew. The Royals will send Ian Kennedy to the mound, who is coming off an ugly nine-run performance against the Orioles in his last start.

With Jorge Soler getting the night off and Lucas Duda on the DL, the Royals will field about as bad as a 5-9 as you’ve seen. Escobar batting fifth, Almonte in, Goins in, Dozier at first, Merrifield at DH the whole shabang.
