Welcome to Fanpost Friday once again!

The Major League Baseball amateur draft begins Monday, June 4. Drafts are fun, and for just a few days fans of every single franchise can squint at the young players being drafted and see them as stars. In that way, it’s like Spring Training: hope springs eternal.

My prompt for this week is less direct than last week’s prompt and is more open ended, which is any of these questions or none of these questions: who is your favorite prospect? How much do you pay attention to the draft? What is your favorite minor league moment? What was your first trip to see minor league baseball like?

For those of you who need a more specific prompt, I guess this is it: what was or is your favorite draft, prospect, or minor league moment?

Multiple Fanposts were written last week about how you became a Royals fan. I’ll list them below. Thanks for everyone who wrote something!
