Just a two-game series this time

The Royals have one, like one game in their last 10. They are very awful. It is time to acknowledge that they are actually this awful as opposed to being a merely bad team on a rough stretch.

Thankfully, the Cincinnati Reds are also awful, which makes tonight’s game more winnable for the Royals. Kansas City baseball fans can also celebrate a recent championship, as opposed to one that happened before the first life crawled out of the ocean. Those baseball games featured all sorts of rain delays, because it was in the ocean, meaning they couldn’t exist at all.
