The Royals will continue their quest for the first overall pick of the 2019 draft tonight, beginning a three-game set with the fourth-worst team in the American League, the Texas Rangers.
The Rangers get their hip-gyrating shortstop Elvis Andrus back from the disabled list, having been without him since April 11th, when he suffered an elbow injury that landed him on the 60-day DL.
The Royals will trot Ian Kennedy out to the mound in the hopes that they get “All Right” Ian, not “Abysmal” Ian. The Rangers will turn to Bartolo Colon to attempt (and likely succeed in) shutting down the Royals’ attack.
