It’s finally happening: the Kansas City Royals will face Japanese wunderkind and modern Babe Ruth cosplayer Shoehei Ohtani on the mound. Yes, the Los Angeles Angels have already unleashed Ohtani’s bat against the Royals, but this is the first time the Royals will face him on the mound.

Wouldn’t you be? Everyone loves him. I wouldn’t be opposed to Ohtani throwing a perfecto against the Royals, because that would easily be the coolest thing to happen to this year’s Royals squad.
