Fanpost Friday: your favorite ballpark experience

Where have you gone?

This weekend, my wife and I will be going with my parents up to the good ol’ state of Minnesota. I’ve never been there, somehow. We’re going to hit up Valleyfair and the Mall of America. We’ll probably see a lake somewhere on the way, I assume. Minnesota has lots of those.

But we’re also going to see the Kansas City Royals play the Minnesota Twins on Monday evening. I have never been to Target Field, obviously, and it will actually only be the fourth big league ballpark I have visited (after Jacob’s Field Progressive Field, Kauffman Stadium, and Coors Field).

So my question for you this week, dear readers and writers: what is your favorite ballpark experience? It can certainly be Kauffman Stadium if it is, but sometimes it’s more special if you visit a place you’ve never been before. Whether it’s Wrigley, Fenway, or any number of other great MLB stadiums, we all have that one time at the ballpark that we loving talking about.

I’m going to be doing a new thing this week. If you write a fanpost of any kind, I will include it. Because, hey, maybe you think my prompt is trash. That’s fine! Write what you want. No judgement.

I’m also going to open the comments so that you can talk about the Fanposts from the previous week, ask questions, or to converse in an off-topic manner because why not.
