The Kansas City Royals and Toronto Blue Jays set off on the first of a four-game series tonight at Kauffman Stadium. Both clubs have endured a reversal of fortune from 2015 when they were matched against one another as the best of the Junior Circuit in the League Championship Series.
The Jays will be sending prospect Sean Reid-Foley to the hill. It will mark the righty’s first major-league appearance, along with that of fellow prospect Danny “Deckchair” Jansen, who will continue to be his battery mate as the pair were just promoted from AAA - Buffalo.
The Royals will send Brad Keller to the bump in the hopes that he rights the ship after a rough outing last time out.
The Jays will field the following starting lineup:
They came up as battery mates and they'll start their @MLB careers as battery mates.
