Game 139 Thread: Royals vs Cleveland Finale

The series—but not season—finale

It’s the series finale against the Cleveland Indians Racists, but not the season finale, as the Kansas City Royals close out their last four games against Cleveland in the familiar confines of Kauffman Stadium. Ergo, there are five games to go against Cleveland before they get rid of their laughably racist mascot, Chief Wahoo, from their uniforms. However, it will be an infinite amount of time before Cleveland fans purge him from their Indians swag and wardrobe, because that’s just how it is.

Anyway, Brad Keller! He’s pretty neat. Hopefully he’ll be backed up by his rookie superfriends Hunter Dozier and Ryan O’Hearn, who have been murdering baseballs lately.

Cleveland will counter with...better players.

Oh well. Everyone loves David toppling Goliath.
