All their bunting and playing the game the right way have not led to many runs for the St. Louis Cardinals in this NLCS, and now they find their backs up against the wall. They are down 2-0 to the Nationals with the series headed back to DC tonight, with young Jack Flaherty called upon to keep the Cards alive.
St. Louis has benched Matt Carpenter in favor of former Royals slugger Jose Martinez in an attempt to get more offense.
#STLCards lineup change: J-Mart in, Carp out.
