The playoffs continue, tonight. First up the Twins have a rematch against the Yankees at 4:07 CDT. Randy Dobnak gets opener duties for the Twins and Masahiro Tanaka will toe the rubber for the Yankees. The Yankees took the first game of the series in a blowout that saw them score multiple runs in four separate innings off of four different pitchers. The Twins managed to get to Yankees starter James Paxton but had no answer for the devastating Yankees bullpen. Can the Twins out-bomb the bombers? This game can be viewed on Fox Sports One.
In the nightcap the Rays will face off against the terrifying Astros. Blake Snell will take the mound for Tampa Bay while Gerrit Cole will lead the way for the Astros. Last night Justin Verlander did Verlander things and completely shut out the Rays for seven innings, long after his lineup had put together a commanding 6-2 lead which doubled as the final score. Can the Rays find a weakness in the seemingly impervious Astros? This game can also be viewed on Fox Sports One.
