There are many things about the Kansas City Royals that are bizarre this season. One of which is that Hunter Dozier has been astounding. In 2016 and 2018, he was...real bad. And this year, he’s been the second coming of Mike Sweeney except at third base. It’s great to see, regardless.

What is not great to see is that the Royals are searching for their first road win of the season. Yes, it is after tax day. No, the Royals aren’t just playing their first road game. They are 0-4 on the road. Can the Royals defeat the Chicago White Sox and gather their first road win? Can the bullpen not explode at all times?

Well, the Royals are giving Adalberto Mondesi a rest today in place of Chris Owings so...maybe not today. But it’s baseball. You never know.
