Where you can find former Royals around baseball

Old friend alert

The 2015 championship flag will fly forever, but many of the friends that helped win that championship have now departed. The Milwaukee Brewers have basically become “Royals 2.0” with ex-Royals Lorenzo Cain, Mike Moustakas, Jeremy Jeffress, Erik Kratz, and Manny Pina all contributing to Milwakuee’s playoff push last year. Kratz has since been dealt to the Giants, and you can find numerous former Royals all over the big leagues. Here is an update on where you can find them.

Some players go overseas to continue their careers, such as Japan with OF Nori Aoki (Yakult), P Onelki Garcia (Hanshin), P Spencer Patton (Yokohama), P Enny Romero (Chunichi) or Korea (IF Jamie Romak).

And you still have players still looking to keep the dream alive in unaffiliated, independent baseball, with teams like the Kansas City T-Bones, who recently signed former Royals pitcher Eric Stout. Here are where you can find some former players from the Royals organization in independent leagues.
