70 percent of Royals fans are confident in the direction of the team

SB Nation’s FanPulse shows fans are cautiously optimistic.

We sent out our weekly SB Nation FanPulse survey, and respondents seem pretty optimistic in the direction of the franchise, despite coming off a 104-loss season and some early bullpen issues this year.

That number is actually slightly up from 64 percent when we asked the question a week ago, just before the season began. Solid starts by Brad Keller, good hitting early on from young hitters like Ryan O’Hearn and Jorge Soler, and the fantastic start by the dynamic Adalberto Mondesi has likely fueled some of that optimism.
