The later the season goes, the more apt you are to find a game recap on Royals Review that is silly and doesn’t really recap the game. At least, that’s true for me. If it’s August, who knows what you’ll get. In April, you’ll probably get a reasonably standard recap.
However, the Royals are already on a seven-game losing streak. If you want to take solace in their Pythagorean record—the one that takes into account runs scored and runs against—the Royals are running in a dead even heat with last year’s 104-loss team. Nice!
So, uh, I feel like it’s August right now even though it’s not even Tax Day. Are you gonna get a real recap? Maybe. Are you going to get a rant about the affect of serialism and academia’s infatuation with atonality in the early 20th Century American symphonic music scene? Maybe. Are you going to get a recap of GIFs? Maybe. Are you going to get a short treatise on why Nadia Boulanger was the most influential musician in the last 150 years? Mayyyybe.
Anyway, here are the lineups.

Seattle Mariners lineup

I hope you get exactly what you wanted in the recap tonight. That, however, depends on how well the Royals do.
