The Royals are playing the Angels again, tonight. So that’s exciting. The Royals will be sending Jakob Junis to the mound. Junis occasionally draws comparisons from the broadcast team to Corey Kluber. Maybe his demeanor is the same but his results leave a lot to be desired.
The Angels are countering with a rookie named Griffin Canning. He’s a right-hander and because he’s a rookie it seems likely he’ll completely dominate the Royals. This will be the fourth start of his young career and so far he hasn’t pitched more than 5.1 innings or allowed fewer than two runs. He has struck out his fair share but in his last start he pitched only 4.2 inning while walking four and giving up three home runs to the Orioles of all teams.
