Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Royals fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
The Royals really need to hit a home run with the second-overall pick of the draft and while it will take many years to determine if Bobby Witt, Jr. is a success, Royals fans are at least thrilled with his selection. According to our latest Fanpulse results, Royals fans overwhelmingly approve of the Royals taking the Texas high school infielder in last week’s draft.
The Witt selection perhaps led to a slight bump in confidence in the direction of the franchise, with 58 percent of respondents confident in the direction of the franchise, up slightly from 52 percent last week, but generally consistent with numbers throughout much of the year. Ned Yost’s approval rating dipped just under 50 percent this week, at 49 percent, although it has hovered around that mark since April.
In our national question, Fanpulse asks fans of all teams whether Major League Baseball should extend netting to each foul pole.
