Vote for Hunter Dozier!

Major League Baseball is experimenting with a new process for electing All-Star voters this year. In order to drum up more interest, baseball had voting in two stages, beginning with a “primary” race. In that race, the top three vote-getters at each position moved on to a one-day online vote that began today and runs through 3 p.m. CT on Thursday, June 27.

Perhaps MLB figured that since everyone loves politics so much, they would love it if the process of determining starters that play three innings in an exhibition game should operate similarly. However it shouldn’t be too surprising that the campaigning has already gone negative. Check out this mudslinging ad from a shadowy interest group.

I have to admit, the ad makes some really good points though. Don’t forget to vote for Hunter Dozier at or at any MLB online platform up to five times today, or you can vote Hunter by entering his name at, where you can select up to 17 players. The starters will be announced Thursday evening on ESPN at 6 p.m. CT.
