Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Royals fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.
The first half of the season is complete, and while the Royals harbored hopes they could somehow climb into the Wild Card hunt, after 81 games they stand 28-53, the second-worst record in all of baseball.
Nonetheless, the confidence in the direction of the club remains steady, at least according to our Fanpulse results. This week, 44 percent of respondents are confident in the direction of the club, a number that has held fairly steady since the beginning of May.

Despite the confidence, fans weren’t exacltly thrilled with the first half. Here are some of the results when I asked fans on Twitter to give me a gif representing the first half.
