Fans wiill get a look at some of the best prospects in baseball at the Future Game, to be held July 7 during All-Star week in Cleveland. Among those prospects will be Royals 2018 first-round pick Brady Singer. The right-hander was selected 17th overall last June out of the University of Florida and posted a 1.87 ERA with 53 strikeouts in 57 2⁄3 innings over ten starts at High-A Wilmington before a recent promotion to Double-A Northwest Arkansas.
Wander Franco, Jo Adell, and Mackenzie Gore highlight the other to prospects that will partcipate in the game. You can see complete rosters and profiles at Baseball America here. The format will now be American League prospects vs. National League prospects, rather than U.S. vs. “The World” as it was in the past. Former Indians greats Jim Thome (AL) and Dennis Martinez (NL) will manage the two squads.

The Futures Game will be held Sunday, July 7 and will air at 7 p.m. on MLB Network.The game has also been shortened from nine innings to seven.
