The Kansas City Royals have three games left against opponents with a losing record this year. This is one of them. Wednesday and Thursday, still against the Chicago White Sox, will be the other two. After that, the Royals will play 16 games against teams with a winning record. Wheeeeeee!

Remember at the beginning of the season when the White Sox and Royals were at each other’s throats for, like, no apparent reason? It will be interesting to see if that rears its head in the last series of the season between the two teams, but it feels so very long ago so honestly who knows.

It’s Jake Junis vs. Ivan Nova. A battle of two very bad teams. One will win, the other will win, too, because tanking. Yay!
