Welcome to SB Nation FanPulse, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Royals fans, sign up HERE to join FanPulse.

The Royals may not be in a division race, but there are some pretty exciting division races in baseball, including both Central Divisions. Last week, Fanpulse asked fans who they thought would walk home with the division titles in each league. Those fans responded overwhelmingly that the Twins would best the Indians and the Cardinals would top the Cubs.

That shouldn’t be too surprising as the Twins have held a 4-5 game lead for the last few weeks, although the Indians have been known to close strong. The Cardinals and Cubs have both had a bit of an up-and-down season but St. Louis currently owns a two game lead on Chicago.

For Royals fans, the excitement following the sale of the club to businessman John Sherman has subsided a bit, at least until he officially takes over. The confidence in the direction of the club spiked last week to 80 percent following the announcement of the sale, but that dropped back down to 65 percent this week, where it has been pretty much all season.

52 percent of Royals fans approve of the job Ned Yost is doing, down from 58 percent a week ago.
