The Royals lost 103 games this year, the fourth-worst year in club history. Despite losing 100+ games for the second year in a row, Royals fans remain confident in the direction of the franchise, according to the latest FanPulse survey. In this week’s results, 76 percent of Royals fans are confident in the direction of the franchise. Those numbers have been consistently up since the announcement of the sale of the franchise to businessman John Sherman.

Royals fans also approve of the job Ned Yost has done as he rides off into the sunset. The retiring manager has a 60 percent approval rating among fans, and has spent most of the season above 50 percent.

The national FanPulse question asked if recent injuries should impact the MVP race.
