The Royals have lost 100+ games in each of the last two seasons, but they could avoid that fate this year if the sports book at William Hill Betting is right. The oddsmaker has over/unders for win totals for the 2020 MLB season out, and while the lines are placed more to get equal action on both sides than reflect what will happen, the bookmaker has the Royals for 65 wins this upcoming season.

William Hill has the Yankees with the high win total with an over/under of 101.5 wins, after the Bronx Bombers won 103 games a year ago. The Dodgers are next at 98.5 wins, and the Astros will have to best the mark of 96.5 wins without the aid of sign-stealing.

The over/under may seem really low for the Royals, but it is actually better than three other teams - the Marlins, Orioles, and Tigers. The oddsmaker apparently believes the Tigers will be just terrible, with an over/under of just 54.5 wins.
