Opening Day Royals vs. White Sox MLB: The Show 20 simulation game thread

Well, it’s Opening Day, errr, would’ve been. The Royals would be gearing up for the day in Chicago ready to take on the South Siders. Instead we’re all locked in our houses like a tiger at Exotic Joe’s Big Cat Refuge.

But we here at Royals Review got you. We’ve gotten set up on Twitch to stream today’s game using MLB: The Show 20. I’m using the rosters that I updated for my own use in franchise and I’ll let the computer run both teams and it’ll be just like the real thing!

I’ll open the stream and we’re shooting for the first pitch to be around 1:10 just like the Royals would’ve been doing. And just like WE would’ve been doing, we’ll use this post as a game thread.

If this concept is pulled off, we can do more games in the future the same way. We might even be able to get some guest commentators on if that sort of thing sounds interesting to you. If you’ve got some more ideas, throw them at us and we’ll do our best to make it happen (i.e. run a whole season, hosting a game of the week, etc.)
