Thursday Spring Training Thread - Royals at Rockies

To be quite honest, finding photos to use for Spring Training threads can get old. There aren’t as many good photos available, specifically of starting pitchers. But then I saw that Daniel Murphy was batting 5th for the Rockies. A trip down memory lane was in order.

As for the game itself, Brad Keller will be on the mound making his 2nd start of the spring. He threw just eight pitches in his first start, giving up two runs on a two-run home run to Manny Machado. The plan was for Keller to pitch one inning, so the start was according to plan. he hasn’t pitched since February 24.

Jorge Soler is also back in the lineup for the first time since Saturday.
