Welcome to the 2020 Shadow Royals Home Opener brought to you by MLB The Show 20. The Royals (2-3) are facing off against the Seattle Mariners (1-6). The two teams will lineup like this:

(Pay no mind to the positional switch between Dozier and Franco. That will be corrected prior to the game.)

Those hitters will be squaring off against Brad Keller (0-1; 4.15 ERA over 4.1IP) for the Royals and Yusei Kikuchi (0-1; 3.00 ERA in 6.0IP) for the Mariners.

This week will be another week commentated by the default cyber announcers Matt Vasgersian, Mark DeRosa, Dan Plesac, and Heidi Watney. In the future, we will try to get some Royals Review Kevins to do some play-by-play and maybe if things get too gross, I might handle the sticks myself. Here’s to hoping that the computer pitcher doesn’t throw anything offspeed.

We’ll try to make this a regular thing every week starting this Sunday night at 7:00 C/T as a Sunday Night Baseball substitute. And we’ll determine which game to show via a poll on these game threads. I’ll stream the final game of every Royals opponent for that week.
