Welcome to SB Nation Reacts (formerly known as SB Nation Fanpulse), a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send 30 polls to plugged in fans from each team. Royals fans, sign up HERE to join SBN Reacts.

The coronavirus has affected every team in baseball, and while most players that have tested positive have been asymptomatic, at least Freddie Freeman has suffered serious symptoms, and other players may have concerns due to underlying medical conditions or loved ones with such conditions.

Already a few players have opted out of playing this year, most notably David Price, Buster Posey, Ian Desmond, Jordan Hicks, Felix Hernandez, Nick Markakis, and Michael Kopech. According to our most recent SBN Reacts poll, 86 percent of fans are fine with players opting out this year.s

Everyone has to make the choice that is best for them, and 63 percent of our respondents would opt out themselves if they were a MLB player.

Remember, you can sign up to participate in SBN Reacts surveys at this link! Surveys will go out each week and only take a few minutes to complete. Check back next week for more SBN Reacts results!
