Baseball returned to our TVs last night and despite some changes - no fans, players in masks - it was surprisingly...normal? The Royals gave up an early lead and I was yelling at the pitcher to throw strikes. It was like old times.
The Royals and Astros hook up again today, weather permitting. Scattered thunderstorms are expected throughout the afternoon, but there may be enough lulls to get in some game action.
If they do play, you’ll get to see some Bobby Witt, Jr. action. You will also get your first look at Franchy Cordero, acquired last week from the Padres.
