The Kansas City Royals have lost six games in a row for the second time this season, and are going to be playing a very good Cleveland team. While that losing streak is likely to continue, I would like to pause and marvel that the Royals were able to lose at least 20% of all available games in their 60-game series in two streaks. That’s bad!

Some other fun stats about this season:

  • Kansas City has been shutout four times, but has only shutout opponents once
  • Kansas City has zero walkoff wins and four walkoff losses
  • Kansas City has never had a wining record

If this isn’t making you pumped up to watch the game, I apologize, but even though we’re only at 42 games so far I am fatigued going through yet another crappy season. But hey, at least Hunter Dozier is good! Furthermore, Brad Keller is starting tonight, and Keller has been one of the best stories from the last few years. Furthermore furthermore, the Royals won’t have to bat against Shane Bieber again this series. Whew!

This is the last season series against Cleveland and will cap off a long, brutal run of the schedule.
