Spring training is underway! The Royals will match up against their spring training facility co-tenants, the Texas Rangers, in a preview of their Opening Day matchup.
The Royals will let some of the old vets get the ball on day one, with 38-year old Ervin Santana and 35-year old Wade Davis on the hill today, with young lefty Kris Bubic and reliever Scott Barlow also scheduled to get some work in today.
As of now, #Royals plan to have Santana, Bubic, Davis and Barlow pitch on Sunday.

The Royals have a good chance to win this game in the late innings - because the Rangers are giving up after seven innings.
Royals-Rangers will be seven innings tomorrow, but the #Royals will play two more simulated innings with their own players.

Games are being adjusted early on to reduce the risks of COVID-19 spread. So the Royals win by default!
The game begins at 2:05 CT from Arizona and will air on 610 Sports in Kansas City.
