Hello, everyone! I am excited to write my first game thread of the year after suffering through a third offseason that has been squeezed into the time span of two regular offseasons. As per usual, we won’t have a recap, but this thread exists for all your commenting glory.
Today’s starting lineup is prospect-heavy, though there are a few veterans sprinkled throughout. Of particular note is Jackson Kowar, starting pitcher, and Bobby Witt Jr., shortstop.
Good day for a trip to Goodyear to face Cleveland.

Cleveland will not make it easy on Witt and friends, for they are sending out their ace and Cy Young winner, Shane Bieber, to the mound.

As usual, both teams will swap out players within the lineup after a few innings, but this is for sure what we’ll get to start the game. Baseball is back. Let us enjoy it.
