Since December, the Royals have signed Greg Holland, Ervin Santana, Wade Davis, and Jarrod Dyson to contract. The Surprise Stadium air is thick with sentimentality. So it’s only fitting that Danny Duffy will make his first appearance of the spring by facing an old friend in Mike Moustakas.
Duffy is entering the final year of a five-year contract and Kansas City’s farm system is overflowing with future starting pitchers. Needless to say, this is a big year for Duffy who looks to rebound from a rough 2020 season.
The Royals also announced this morning that fans will be back in the stadium this year, with the capacity limit set at 30%. For more Royals news, make sure to read this morning’s Royals Rumblings.
Here are your lineups for this evening’s contest.
