The Royals and Padres were two of the most active teams this off-season, although to different degrees. San Diego has a pool of hot-lava talent to surround veterans like former Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer and former Royals prospect Wil Myers. Fernando Tatis, Jr. is fresh off a blockbuster 14-year contract and is quickly emerging as one of the most dynamic players in baseball.
Speaking of dynamic, Bobby Witt, Jr. homered last night and is making quite a name for himself in camp already.
The first Cactus League home run of Bobby Witt Jr.'s career. #Royals
