MLB: Milwaukee Brewers at Kansas City Royals Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

This is a tough matchup for the Royals, and it’s not just because they haven’t won a game at Kauffman Stadium since April 21. Remember that wild walk-off over the Tampa Bay Rays at home? That was their last home win, and it was 27 days ago.

Maybe that streak will end tonight, but it won’t be easy considering the opponent. Kris Bubic will make his first start of the season. Opposing him will be All Star-caliber Brandon Woodruff, one of Milwaukee’s sterling young pitchers that enters with 61 strikeouts in eight games (and a 1.64 ERA).

Between Woodruff and Corbin Burnes, who pitches tomorrow, the Brewers are absolutely loaded in the starting pitching department. It must be nice to have a GM that can develop a quality starting pitcher every now and then...

First pitch is at 7:10 pm.
